NOTICE REGARDING CMFA SPECIAL FINANCE AGENCY CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE (CCR Title 2, Div. 6, Sec. 18750) – 1/31/23

The CMFA Special Finance Agency (the “Agency”) is in the process of amending its Conflict of Interest Code (“Code”) to conform to requirements of the Fair Political Practices Commission (“FPPC”). The amendments will have no effect on the substantive requirements of the Agency’s existing Code. That is, all members of the Agency’s Board of Directors, its Executive Director, and all financial advisory and administrative services personnel of the Agency will continue to be required to file a FPPC Form 700 financial disclosure, and will continue to be required to report in all categories therein, annually and upon leaving office. A copy of the proposed Code may be obtained by emailing info1@cmfa-ca.com or writing to the Agency at 2111 Palomar Airport Road, Suite 320, Carlsbad, California 92011. Written comments concerning the proposed Code may be emailed or mailed to the above addresses from February 1, 2023, to and including March 17, 2023, to be considered before the adoption of the proposed Code by the Agency. Any three interested persons may request, no later than March 2, 2023, a public hearing on the proposed Code prior to its adoption by writing to the Agency at the email address or mailing address above.
