CMFA Financings Enable $55,000 in Contributions to California Nonprofits
The CMFA continues to give back to the communities in California by directing a portion of its issuance fees to charitable organizations. Two 501(c)(3) organizations received $55,000 total in contributions from the California Foundation for Stronger Communities with funds donated by the CMFA.
The two well-deserving organizations include:
Cancer Angels of San Diego is a unique San Diego County organization that provides support for patients with any type of Stage IV cancer who are struggling with severe financial difficulties.
Hope University, home of the Hi Hopes, is a fine-arts infused day-program for adults with developmental disabilities. Individuals attending the program have the opportunity to participate in and develop their talents in the visual and performing arts while developing their social, behavioral and cognitive skills.
