The CMFA continues to give back to the communities in California by directing a portion of its issuance fees to charitable organizations. Six 501(c)(3) organizations received $80,000 in contributions from the California Foundation for Stronger Communities with funds donated by the CMFA.
The six well deserving organizations include: Los Angeles County High School for the Arts Foundation, East Bay Children’s Theater, UC Riverside Pathways to Success, Boys & Girls Club of Coachella Valley, Union of Pan Asian Communities, and Kids Konnected.
· Los Angeles County High School for the Arts Foundation provides a specialized program combining college-preparatory academic instruction and conservatory style training in the visual and performing arts.
· East Bay Children’s Theater provides children an opportunity to experience musical theater.
· UC Riverside Pathways to Success provides scholarships to youth in Coachella Valley.
· Boys & Girls Club of Coachella Valley provides a safe place for those with social or economic needs
· Union of Pan Asian Communities improves the Pan Asian communities with education and general well being.
· Kids Konnected provides friendship, understanding, education and support for kids and teens who have a parent with cancer or have lost a parent with cancer.
