CMFA Financings Enable $40,000 in Contributions to California Non-Profits
The CMFA continues to give back to the communities in California by directing a portion of its issuance fees to charitable organizations. Four 501(c)(3) organizations received $40,000 in contributions from the California Foundation for Stronger Communities with funds donated by the CMFA.
The four well deserving organizations include: Shelter from the Storm, Canyon Acres Children & Family Services, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, and Volunteer Center of Orange County.
· Shelter from the Storm provides comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence.
· Canyon Acres Children & Family Services provides housing and treatment to abused children and their families.
· Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation provides programs, speakers, mentors, partnerships, resources and scholarship dollars for Orange County youth.
· Volunteer Center of Orange County provides volunteer training and consulting.
