- CMFA is focused on providing efficient, timely financing service to all borrowers. CMFA's representatives and Board of Directors are experienced in tax-exempt bond financing and have a broad understanding of the unique challenges faced by California's municipalities, businesses and charitable organizations in today's environment.
- Except as provided by federal law, there is no size limitation on the amount of bonds that can be issued through CMFA.
- Multiple projects at different locations throughout California can be financed with one bond issuance, saving time and closing costs.
- The unique commitment to “give back” 25% of issuance fees to the sponsoring municipality and another 25% of issuance fees to local charitable organizations sets CMFA apart as the “Joint Powers Authority committed to helping communities.”
- This sharing of fees from a project with the host community has been very well received by borrowers and helps foster an outstanding relationship with the local community.
